QR (quick response) codes

These would be a lot more useful if surfing the Internet on your mobile phone was more affordable.

Telstra has information on how to use and create QR codes.

i-nigma is another site where you can make your own QR code.

Wiimote interactive whiteboard

I am trialling the use of a Wiimote and an IR LED pen to make an ordinary whiteboard interactive.

I was inspired by this video on TeacherTube.

I purchased a Wiimote on eBay for $50 delivered. The IR LED pen I had made for $15, although they are simple to make for under $2 with instructions and diagrams easily found on the Internet.
